Abstract
The tolerance of Pr-β-HCG-TT has been tested in 115 mice, 6 rabbits and 19 monkeys.
Single or multiple injections of the vaccine at human equivalent doses in monkeys
and at 6 to 10 times human equivalent doses in rabbits did not produce any mortality
over prolonged periods of observation ranging up to 20 months. In mice 3 to 10% mortality
was noted with 32 to 64 human equivalent doses, which is considered insignificant.
