Objectives: Crisis pregnancy centers account for the majority of postabortion support providers
in Ontario, Canada's largest and most populous province. Although the deceptive tactics
used by crisis pregnancy centers to dissuade women from seeking abortions are well-documented
across Canada and the United States, the provision of postabortion support by these
organizations has not been previously explored. This study aimed to fill this research
gap.
